Oh , how I love Thanksgiving, it has always been my favorite holiday. Most Thanksgivings we would host everyone in our home. We would have both sides of our families and everyone else we fostered into our family that year. Many times it would be a new family or college students far from their home country. We loved welcoming these dear friends and family each year. Steve's favorite tradition each year would be to deep fry 3 or 4 turkeys. We always made our "secret recipe" Bread Pudding. I have kept our recipe secret because one day I want Ethan, Chloe and Emma to pass on our traditions. Got to keep some things in our family right?
Every year we hosted Thanksgiving I would ask each person present to give "thanks" for something God had done in their life that year! Doing that really brought to life how faithful God is to us and how much we have to be grateful for.
Well, life has changed in so many ways. I won't be going back to Louisiana this year. We won't be hosting in our home this year and Steve won't be frying his "awesome turkeys". But one thing has not changed, we are so blessed to have family and friends, to live in this great country and have the opportunities to chase our dreams and our passions!

Happy Thanksgiving from your Daddy{who loves your more than you will ever know} and Miss Donna. We just visited the grandchildren and you from your beautiful website. Even though we are not with family and have no home to spend this holiday in we are blessed by all that the LORD has giving us and continues to give us. The Lord's blessings we have in our hearts from of our children and grandchildren are so immense. Michelle, Steve, Ethan, Chloe, and Emma have a blessed day full of thanks. WE LOVE YOU ALL and MISS YOU MORE.
