Summer

The kids have been out of school now 2 weeks, but I think I am busier than when school was in session. My kids have cross country camp, basketball camp, speed camp, girl scout camp and basketball games, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Last summer just moving here not knowing anyone yet , summer was just discovering this new place. It was a good day if we did not get lost 6 times. The Woodlands is circle after circle . To find the circle is the challenge because everything is behind trees.

Now we feel this is home and we know this was God's plan for He orders our steps. So this summer they have events that keep them busy enough so there is no boredom. I am so excited for my 2 older kids, they will be going to church camp for the first time. I know this will be a special time to make memories, new friends, great fun, and a get closer to God. My memories of summer camp are very special to me.

Summer is great, it is still busy but it has given me time to connect to my 3 kids in a more relaxed way. Hey I even started reading a book for fun."FRENCH BY HEART" by Rebecca Ramsey. It's a nice break from all the books I usually read on parenting , marriage, spiritual growth, I need all the help I can get, but it's fun to just read something fun for summer.

I remember summers as a teenager my sister and I would get gossip and fashion magazines to read on the flight or on the beach. I would try so hard not to peek because I wanted to save it for later. Anyone who knows me well , knows I am a little obsessive about magazines. I'm sure I have had thousands, but with each move I let go of a few more. So I am now down to a few hundred.

I still think you have THOUSANDS! I've never met anyone with sooo much magazines. Obsession is not even close!!!! omg. Those mags are now vintage and prolly fun to look back and see how retro decorations were!

Miss you guys!
